Trading Art Game
Delete Your Account and Data
You can delete your Trading Art Game account and the personal data attached to it at any time. You do not need our permission, and you do not have to give a reason.
The quickest way is inside the app: Profile → Settings → Account Data → Delete Account. Use the form further down this page only if you can no longer get into the app.
Deleting from inside the app
- Open Trading Art Game, go to the Profile tab, then Settings, and scroll down to Account Data.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
- Your account is scheduled for deletion in 30 days and you are signed out straight away.
- If you change your mind, sign back in during those 30 days. The app will show you the deletion notice and nothing else — it tells you the exact date the deletion will complete, and offers you Cancel Deletion, which restores your account in full, or Log Out.
- Once the 30 days are up, the deletion runs on its own. It cannot be reversed, and the account cannot be restored afterwards.
Can’t get into the app? Request it here
Send us the request below and we will carry out exactly the same deletion on your behalf.
We use what you send here only to find your account and act on your request. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.
How we check the account is yours
Deleting from inside the app needs no extra checks: you are already signed in, and our API only ever accepts a deletion for the account making the request — it cannot be pointed at anyone else’s.
For a request sent through the form above, we act on it from the email address your account is registered with. If the address you give us does not match an account, we will reply and ask for something that identifies it — never more than we need in order to be sure the account is yours.
What gets deleted
- Your email address, your password, and any Apple or Google sign-in linked to the account.
- Your username and your full username history.
- The artwork you chose as your profile picture.
- Your friends list, and any friend requests still waiting for an answer.
- Your trade pile, and any pending trades — offers you sent are withdrawn, offers you received are declined.
- Anyone you had blocked.
- The push-notification tokens for your devices, so nothing can reach them afterwards.
- Your sign-in sessions, so the account cannot be signed into again.
What we keep, and why
- An anonymised account record. Your collection and the trades you took part in stay in the game’s records, because they are also part of the history of the players you traded with. They are no longer attached to a name, an email address or a picture, and there is nothing left in them that identifies you.
- Moderation records, but only if your account was ever subject to a moderation action. The record of the action survives, along with the username it concerned; the link to your account does not, and your email address is never part of it.
- Technical and security logs, for a limited period, plus anything we are legally required to keep or need in order to resolve a dispute or enforce our terms.
Section 7 of our Privacy Policy sets this out in full.
Want a copy of your data first?
Deletion cannot be undone once it has completed, so export your data before you start if you want to keep it. In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Account Data → Export Personal Data. The export contains your email address, the date your account was created, your username and username history, the days you signed in, and the devices registered for push notifications.
